Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) is a community based program which provides developmental services to children from birth to 36 months. EDIS screens children for developmental concerns and provides services to eligible children who reside on Fort Campbell. The EDIS team includes several providers including speech-language pathologists, early childhood intervention specialists, an occupational therapist and a physical therapist. EDIS is here to help your child and family with any developmental concerns you may have. Give us a call today.
The Department of Emergency Medicine is the healthcare safety net for Fort Campbell. We provide top-quality, comprehensive medical care for all ages for life threatening, emergent, urgent and acute conditions in a safe, clean and professional environment. Our dedicated staff of highly trained professionals is committed to serving you and your family in the most timely manner possible whenever you need us. Although we cannot provide you with telephone advice, our doors never close-we are here for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week every day of the year.

Routine immunizations are provided for all BACH enrolled patients in their primary care clinics. Please contact your primary care clinic for hours immunizations are provided.
Beneficiaries who are not assigned to BACH may call Tricare for a list of off post options or contact the Allergy Clinic.
Beneficiaries travelling to foreign countries for leisure travel are asked to contact the Travel clinic at 270-956-0202. Military and Family members travelling to foreign countries for official travel to include TDY or a PCS move, please contact your primary care clinic.

For emergencies during duty hours, please call the clinic to ensure availability of the surgeon; after duty hours go to the Emergency Room. Clinic appointment days and surgery days and hours are variable, depending on availability of the two surgeons (due to emergencies, taskings/training requirements, TDYS, leave, etc.).

Optometry care for active duty Soldiers only. Family members should call the TRICARE Service Center in order to confirm eligibility for services at civilian clinics. Ft. Campbell has 2 active duty optometry clinics: LaPointe Optometry Clinic (located in the LaPointe Health Clinic) and the Byrd Optometry Clinic (located in the Byrd Health Clinic). In order to schedule routine eye examination appointments at either optometry clinic, AD Soldiers must call: 270-412-9113. Both clinics operate walk-in-sick-call from 0630-0800, Monday-Friday. The clinics do not offer walk-in services for routine eye examinations.
